Contest at Rhonna Farrer's blog

My ABSOLUTE favorite digital designer (short of the one that I was on the design team for) is Rhonna Farrer. She is having a commenting contest on her blog. Check it out and maybe you could win one of her kits. She has 209 of them!!

Here's the link to her blog:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season. We got through the major holidays, remembered Pop warmly, and enjoyed family completely.

The boys had a great Christmas eventhough we didn't do as much as usual (DH always thinks we spend too much) but I am sure that I didn't. Heather enjoyed her own place for Christmas and I haven't even had a chance to stop over and see her tree that her grandmother gave her. Prelit artificial tree works great for Heather.

I did get the coveted large photo printer and a portable GPS. Hoping to purchase the new car this week I think. So I think I had a great Christmas. My family is way too generous to me.

We enjoyed our usual Christmas Eve tradition of snacks, eggnog and Christmas trivia game we always play. The usual Christmas Eve pj's were given too (though the kids are 26, 21 & 19) I still get them the pjs. They joke about it but I think they would miss it if I didn't.

Hope all my scrappy friends had a wonderful holiday and best wishes for the New Year. Please let it be a better one. More on New Years resolutions later, lol!

Finally a new layout done!

It took a challenge on PsgeMaps Blog ( to get me to finally get into my scrapbook room and be creative. With Pop passing and Thanksgiving and my 50th birthday, November was a very hard month. The best parts of my birthday were the surprise party my daughter and my mother through for me along with all my friends and family and the new bookcase that I got from IKEA for my scrapbook room. I think cleaning up and organizing my room (which meant actually now being able to see my table and work on it) has helped me to get this layout done. I hope you enjoy it.
